Craftsmen passing on their know-how: with cookery and gardening at the top of the hit parade : the example of Italy and teaching culinary. En Italie, villas, fermes, anciennes demeures vont se transformer de plus en plus pour proposer aux touristes des expériences qui dérivent plus du « faire » que du « voir ». En offrant des cours de cuisine ou de jardinage, on fait leur vivre le savoir populaire et les anciennes valeurs cachées dans les recettes simples ou élaborées ou derrière la réalisation d'un jardin ou d'un potager. Traditions qui reflètent la convivialité, les styles de vie et la culture agricole italienne, encore assoupie jusqu’il y a quelques années, mais qui va maintenant émerger en offrant aux résidents la possibilité de réaffirmer leurs spécificités dans un monde globalisé et aux visiteurs une façon agréable de connaître les stratifications culturelles des gens et de leur territoire.
