Generalized Procrustes Analysis for Multilingual Studies.

When the purpose is to study the differences among cultures, comparative cultural studies become significantly important. One of the most peculiar aspects of a culture is the language as a means of communication between people. In the literature of cross-language analyses, many approaches have been proposed to compare two languages. These approaches are mainly based on the use of bilingual dictionaries and automatic translation systems. In order to compare more languages simultaneously and analyse public opinion in different countries, we suggest the Generalized Procrustes Analysis on Twitter data. We will present a case study about violence against women to show the effectiveness of our proposal.
