The evolution of web communication requires new ways to look at the interaction formulas that take place among citizens/patients and health care system. The study highlights the potentiality of web communication in improving the perceived quality of healthcare. The paper investigates how the implementation of web communication strategies brings improvements in the healthcare system. The analysis is conducted both with respect to the American context, where the use of web communication tools in health is very frequently, and the Italian context where the experience is just beginning.
