Suggestioni postdrammatiche di un teatro di confine

In detention centers, as in marginal contexts in general, theater crosses over into the social sphere. As with many efforts of this type, it may follow different paths than official theatre, focusing on aspects related to the value of human beings. An out of bounds theatre, part of the so-called ‘theatre of diversity’, based on the idea of community theatre and designed to enhance and develop individual inclinations and abilities in a group context. The end product of this approach to theater is a dynamic performance, an object which, according to the categories suggested by Peirce, displays signs that are interposed between the object and its interpreter, forming a ground that is translated into social significance. A kind of theatre that, because of the spectator’s reaction, falls into a postdramatic context, where the acting materializes the dramatic subject and his world, affirming his identity through a real body in a real space.

L’esperienza del teatro nei luoghi di detenzione, come in quelli di marginalità in genere, appartiene all’ambito di un teatro che si cala nel sociale. Come molti prodotti di questo genere può seguire logiche differenti dal teatro ufficiale così da cogliere differenti significati che rimandano al valore dell’essere umano. Un teatro di confine, che s’inquadra nel cosiddetto ‘teatro delle diversità’, che fa leva sull’idea di un teatro comunitario, che possa valorizzare e sviluppare le inclinazioni e le capacità individuali all’interno di un gruppo. Il prodotto finale di un approccio teatrale siffatto è una performance dinamica, un oggetto che, applicando le categorie di Peirce, mostra segni che si pongono tra l’oggetto e l’interpretante e che costituisce quel ground che si traduce in un significato sociale. Un teatro che, per la reazione dello spettatore, si inquadra in un contesto postdrammatico, dove il gesto attoriale materializza il soggetto drammatico e il suo mondo, affermando la sua identità con un corpo reale in uno spazio reale.
