Italy, in Roundtable: Reacting to the “Shock of the Global”. A Comparative Perspective,

Within the framework of the PRIN project *“Italy and the Shock of the Global during the 1970s: Perceptions, Interpretations, Reactions,” a comparative roundtable was organized to examine the experiences of several other major Western countries during the critical transition of the 1970s decade. The article presents in summary form the Italian case, drawing in particular on a series of original research contributions developed during the PRIN project by the research groups involved.
