The essay explores the strong relationship between Aristophanes and Marco Martinelli for the past thirty yeats, highlighting the role of ancient comedy in the pedagogy of the non-scuola and in choral projects with adolescents. The re-readings and staging of "Peace" developed with Parma, London, and Chickenshed theatre, and the projects in Scampia (Naples) and Pompei serve as a dialogue with present conflicts. Martinelli's work provides insights for a theatre pedadogy based on listening and transformation.
