La Timone, Marsiglia. Città ospedaliera

The article is about the renovation project of the University Hospital Center “La Timone” in Marseilles (completion expected in 2008), an old hospital “monobloc”. Through this new project, the AART International goal is to re-establish a strong bond with the city, until you open the hospital to the city, at the same time contributing to the redesign of a part of this, especially with regard to the upgrading of existing roads and the different systems of circulation, along with the design of new green accommodations that mediate the transition with the surrounding buildings.

L'articolo è dedicato al progetto di ristrutturazione del Centro Ospedaliero Universitario "La Timone", a Marsiglia (completamento previsto nel 2008), un vecchio ospedale "a monoblocco". L’intento degli AART International è quello di ristabilire, con il nuovo progetto, un legame forte con la città, fino ad aprire l’ospedale alla città, allo stesso tempo contribuendo al ridisegno di una parte di questa, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la riqualificazione delle arterie esistenti e dei differenti sistemi di circolazione, insieme con la progettazione di nuove sistemazioni a verde che mediano il passaggio con gli edifici circostanti.
