Il progresso e le sue contraddizioni nella città contemporanea/Progress and its contradictions in the contemporary city

The article focuses on the analysis of some events built inherent in the contemporary city as a symbol of the progress achieved highlighting forms of contradiction and possible risks. Among the items covered: the development in height of the cities; the bigness of the public works; the relationship with the natural environment; the phenomenon of slums.

L'articolo riguarda un'analisi di alcune manifestazioni costruite inerenti la città contemporanea come simbolo del progresso raggiunto mettendone in rilievo forme di contraddizione e possibili rischi. Tra i temi trattati: la crescita in altezza, la grande dimensione delle opere pubbliche, il rapporto con l'ambiente naturale, il fenomeno degli slum.
