The essay focuses on the connections between the sense of proportion that belongs to the Renaissance and the sense of proportion that belongs to the Rationalism in architecture with the goal to reflect on the principles of the project generators with the advent of pop culture. Among the items covered: architectural principles of humanism; Leonardo Ricci's reflections from the book "Anonymous of the twentieth century" (1965); Le Corbusier and the regulating lines; the bond between Ricci's architecture and the pop culture.

Il saggio pone l'attenzione sui legami esistenti tra il senso della misura che appartiene al Rinascimento e quello che ha caratterizzato il periodo razionalista in architettura, per arrivare a riflettere su un cambiamento storico importante dei principi generatori del progetto con l'avvento della cultura pop. Tra i temi trattati: i principi architettonici dell'umanesimo; alcune riflessioni di Leonardo Ricci tratte dal testo "Anonimo del XX secolo" (1965); il pensiero di Le Corbusier e il tema dei tracciati regolatori; il legame tra l'architettura di Leonardo Ricci e la cultura Pop.
