The article discusses the constitutive elements and consequences of today's media experience. In particular, questions of space and time, common sense, subjectivity, identity and memory are discussed in their transformation caused by the ordinary experience of media. In the final part the possible consequences in media experience driven by new media convergence are briefly discussed.
