Lavagna per la pace

This work allows us to focus on students’ conceptions of peace by underlining how, in times of uncertainty and fragility, the ideals in which young people prefer to seek sanctuary or draw fresh vitality are rooted in the spectrum of female-dominated family figures and the concept of freedom. These results are derived from an interdisciplinary research study concerning the portrayal of the concept of peace and are based on linguistic and textual data methodologies (Bag Of Words, BoW). The data was obtained in March 2022 utilizing digital technologies influenced by strategies for visual thinking. As the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is continuing, the precise wording of the open-ended question, which emphasized the non-political dimension, was viewed as a correction to the conditioning bias towards the issue under inquiry. The content is studied initially, followed by the investigation of linguistic characteristics on many levels: vocabulary, verbal morphology, and intertextuality forms (dialogism and quotations).
