The article considers a case of celebrity culture embodied in television production. Analysing "The Young Pope" by Paolo Sorrentino it shows the circulation of celebrities through cinema and television, thus implying a new kind of "celevision". Textual, paratextual and reception forms are considered, looking for specific celebrity construction forms. Overall, the article shows the overlapping dimensions of national and transnational celebrity construction, in the context of transmedia flow of celebrity culture
