The article deals with forms of adaptation of television series in the transnational context of production and circulation of televisual products. Specifically, it analyses the national adaptation of the original Israelian series "Be'tipul", "In Treatment". The article considers textual, paratextual and reception forms of the series, evaluating contents, press articles about the series and spectators' comments on a sample of social networks. It emerges that "In Treatment" represents a kind of transnational television, where the national adaptation is based on an invariant thematic center, thus involving both variations and persistences in the context of quality drama series.
