The article analyses current examples of Italian factual entertainment, discussing the discursive forms and the thematization process of the fashion object. The roles of televisual apparatus and audience are also considered. The article aims at answering questions such as: what kind of style is proposed and through which discursive procedures? What is the function of television in transmitting fashion contents? What is the role of the audience? What connotation of fashion emerges?
