The chapter takes into account the survey in the Ebla region in order to outline the settlement history during the Early Bronze Age. Satellite imagery, off-site survey at Ebla, previous surveys carried out by the Italian Expedition and new geo-archaeological data have been considered allowing a first preliminary assessment of the archaeological landscape of the Eblaite chora.
