Artificial Intelligence and tourism in geographic survey: a review of the scientific literature. The paper presents the results of a qualitative-quantitative research aimed at exploring at a global scale, through a scoping review, publications on the application of AI in tourism territories. The aim of this study was to verify the interactions between AI and tourism through the analysis of keywords that emerged in the literature reviewed. The geographic location of authors’ affiliation centres was also considered in order to detect central and peripheral nodes of research centres in the global network.
