This research investigates the role of rhetoric in sustainability reports, highlighting its strategic im-portance in crafting persuasive corporate narratives. Building on Aristotle's rhetorical framework (ethos, logos, pathos), the study examines how rhetoric enhances corporate credibility, manages impressions, and addresses crises. Rhetoric is presented not merely as an embellishment of dis-course but as a strategic tool for shaping stakeholder perceptions, communicating corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments, and legitimizing business practices. The analysis includes a detailed examination of sustainability reports from various industries, focusing on linguistic and visual tools such as images, graphs, and layout design, to identify key rhetorical strategies by the lens of multimodal rhetorical analysis.
