Processo creativo e rappresentazione dello spazio

The essay is about the theme of the relationship between creative activity at its purest (the arts) and repercussions in the specific field of design (objects, spaces, landscapes), with reference to some artistic movements of the '900, to the analysis of contemporary and new interesting links between management of the world of ideas and architectural products. Among the most recent examples there is the temporary pavilion project designed by Toyo Ito for the Serpentine Gallery in London, in collaboration with Cecil Balmond, whose space is derived from the processing of an algorithm.

Il testo tocca il tema della relazione tra attività creativa allo stato puro (il campo artistico) e ripercussioni nel settore specifico della progettazione (oggetti, spazi, paesaggi), con riferimento ad alcuni movimenti artistici del ‘900, fino all’analisi della contemporaneità e di nuovi interessanti legami tra gestione del mondo delle idee e prodotti architettonici. Tra gli esempi più recenti il progetto del padiglione temporaneo realizzato dall'architetto Toyo Ito per la Serpentine Gallery a Londra, in collaborazione con Cecil Balmond, il cui spazio deriva dalla elaborazione di un algoritmo.
