The chapter deals with photographic representation of war between Israel and Palestine (2023/24), It analyses a qualitative sample of Italian press and it examines thematic issues, subjects, communicative tone, narrative compositions along with their evolution during the months. The chapter also stresses the existence of a "moral spectatorship" which engages the viewer in different ways, thus giving to the iconic public discourse an ethical nuance.
