The article analyses the two poetic collections conceived by Ludwig Tieck during his journey to Italy between 1805 and 1806. The journey, marked by Tieck's chronic illness, represents a moment of both personal and artistic transition. The poems reflect the author's attempt to translate physical and psychological pain into a new form of expression, marking a detachment from the traditional Romantic model and moving towards a more realistic and subjective representation. Tieck's Reisegedichte represent the transformation of Romantic odeporic literature and trace the transition towards an intimist and impressionistic lyricism, where the journey becomes an existential rather than aesthetic experience. The poems thus emerge as evidence of a new narrative and poetic model, anticipating modern sensibilities.

Abstract
The poems thus emerge as evidence of a new narrative and poetic model, anticipating modern sensibilities.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
