This essay analyzes the metaphors of light and water in María Zambrano's work. The hypothesis is that these metaphors have a biographical root related to the Andalusian and Mediterranean landscape of Vélez-Málaga, which becomes an interior landscape and drives a permanent search for origins. The material landscape is transformed into an object of memory, into a personal symbol charged with collective identity, and then into a true philosophical conception. The physical landscape is thus recreated and transformed, thanks to the geopoetic imagination, into an interior trans-subjectivation arising from a "geo-territorial symbolism".

Abstract
This essay analyzes the metaphors of light and water in María Zambrano's work. The hypothesis is that these metaphors have a biographical root related to the Andalusian and Mediterranean landscape of Vélez-Málaga, which becomes an interior landscape and drives a permanent search for origins. The material landscape is transformed into an object of memory, into a personal symbol charged with collective identity, and then into a true philosophical conception. The physical landscape is thus recreated and transformed, thanks to the geopoetic imagination, into an interior trans-subjectivation arising from a "geo-territorial symbolism".File | Dimensione | Formato | |
