This paper discusses the presence of Linear A in the Cyclades and in particular in Thera, in the light of new inscriptions recently discovered. In particular, some preliminary observations are formulated on a loomweight bearing three signs of complex interpretation. The physical, paleographic and epigraphic characteristics of this unicum lead towards the formulation of some fresh interpretative proposals.
