NEW TRAJECTORIES OF MIGRANTS FROM EUROPE TOWARDS THE MIDDLE EAST: ROUNDTRIP – The theme dealt with in this contribution concerns the trajectories of a new migration flow from European countries to the Middle East, in particular towards the Syrian and Iraqi territories controlled by jihadist organizations. It was a circumscribed migration in terms of purpose and modality, and which today (2019) feeds a path back to Europe, which is facing the challenge of returnees reintegration and de-radicalization.
