Il grado zero dell'immagine: rispecchiamenti dell'Io nell'Altro

Roland Barthes shows the possibility of writing degree zero. Similarly, it is possible to find the image degree zero. The verbal image is a fundamental key to enter into a complex visual and textual space specific to the literary work. The study of images portrayed in texts specifically addresses the cultural construction and literary representation of identity and otherness, of the Self in dialectical relation to the Other. So literary image degree zero has a cognitive function facilitating the first acquaintance with the cultural construction and literary representation of the Other, but also a deepening of our understanding of Otherness through a comparative contextualisation.
