Storie con-fuse: Pensiero narrativo, sociologia e media

The work takes firstly into consideration narrative thinking in an individual perspective and intra-psychic, and then it examines the narrative action and social knowledge to reflect on the major media as storytellers and builders of social and narrative representations of reality . The centrality of histories on individual and social experiences are the basis on which the author wonders about the contribution that the narrative paradigm could give to sociology and to sociology of communication , offering some concrete suggestions in this direction

L'autore prende dapprima in esame il pensiero narrativo in una prospettiva individuale e intra-psichica, per poi esaminare la dimensione narrativa dell'azione e della conoscenza sociale e giungere infine a riflettere sui media come principali narratori e costruttori di rappresentazioni socio-narrative della realtà. La centralità delle storie nell'esperienza individuale e sociale diventano lo spunto sulla cui base l'autore s'interroga sul contributo che il paradigma narrativo potrebbe dare alla sociologia e alla communication research, proponendo alcuni spunti concreti in questa direzione
